Operation Christmas Child

I am pleased to say that our family had the privilege to participate in Operation Christmas Child this year! A month or so ago we packed and turned in a shoebox full of gifts to someone in this great world of ours. Just today we learned it went to a young teenage girl in Ecuador.

Because, as you have likely noticed, I have a boundless passion for lists,

The shoebox contained:
  • notebook
  • gloves
  • pack of pens
  • small stuffed dog
  • compact mirror
  • nail clippers
  • jump rope
  • glow sticks (although ultimately we didn't include these, due to a fear they were a violation of regulations)
  • washcloth
  • Nerds
  • flashlight (with spare batteries)
  • gum
  • bar soap
  • ponytail holders
  • socks (essential to life)
  • toothpaste
  • toothbrush
  • hairbrush and comb
  • lollipops
Merry Christmas, all! I hope you have a lovely holiday.

Among lights,
-whisper

Merry Christmas!
Yes, socks are essential.
Ecuador? I love Ecuador. We knew someone who was a missionary there... Ok, so I'd better leave now before I start off on another story. :D

Fun! And yes..the penchant for lists is noticeable <_< For a spy that is.

Operation Christmas child is so cool! Sadly, we didn't do it this year :( We came OH SO CLOSE! :C We've done it as long as I can remember, so I have hopes for next year :) Great job!

Thank you, Jake, I hope your holiday went well. :)

Missionary to Ecuador? Cool! Our next door neighbor is from Ecuador... *muses* And what of that story, Vrenith? *is curious* Do tell!

Millard - Ah, I am glad to have obtained yet another noticeable trait. >_>

Heh, for our family, it is the other way around - we only began doing it a year or two ago. 'Tis most enjoyable...
